Integrity Records was founded in 1994 in a small office in Bedford, England. After early releases from Cambridge indie-popsters The Traceys, the label became notable for signing bands such as Miss Black America, Plutonik and Million Dead, whose vocalist Frank Turner went on to forge a successful solo career.
John Peel was a great supporter of the label and played the vast majority of our releases on his BBC Radio 1 show. In 2002, 5 Integrity releases (including B-sides) proudly appeared in Peel’s annual Festive Fifty.
In recent years, Integrity has also been the UK home for American artists such as Travis + Julie, Katastrophy Wife and Meow Meow.
Aside from the sonic gems we release ourselves, here’s what’s currently gracing the Integrity office stereo.
Why not email us your own monthly playlists (up to 5 albums/singles/EPs/demos), and we’ll publish some alongside our own. Include your name and address if you also want to be in the hat for randomly drawn freebies.
